Do you offer emergency call-outs? +
Yes. iKapa Waterproofing offers same-day and emergency leak assessments across Cape Town. If you have an active roof leak or water coming through a ceiling, contact us directly and we'll arrange a response as quickly as possible.
Are your quotes binding? +
We provide written quotes after an on-site inspection. The quote sets out the scope of work, the products to be used, and the price. We don't change the price after the work starts unless the scope changes materially and this is agreed with you first.
Do you work with insurance claims? +
Yes. If your leak or water damage is the result of a storm event, we can assist with documentation for your insurer. We recommend photographing all damage before any repair work begins and contacting your insurer as soon as possible after the event.
How do I know if I need waterproofing or just a repair? +
The best way to determine this is an on-site inspection. A repair addresses a specific failure point, a cracked tile, a failed flashing seal, a blocked gutter. Waterproofing is required when the underlying membrane system has failed across a broader area and can no longer reliably keep water out. We'll give you an honest assessment of which applies to your situation.
